Fox at the Den

I came across this young red fox as it cautiously emerged from the shelter of its earth. And what really appealed to me was that wonderful mixture of curiosity and alertness in its expression. And I wanted to keep the setting natural and understated, using the warm earth colours, roots, and grasses to give a true sense of its habitat, while letting that direct gaze remain the focus. The price shown is for the painting framed, but it can be supplied unframed if you prefer. UK delivery is free. For overseas orders, please ask me for a shipping quote.
