Kittiwakes at Bempton Cliffs

This 10-by-12 framed oil on panel features a pair of kittiwakes perched on the cliffs at Bempton. The reference was kindly shared by a friend, and I used it for a recent demonstration, both for my YouTube and Patreon communities. I really enjoyed this one, and it’s sparked a renewed interest in painting more British seabirds. This piece, set in a float frame, is part of that ongoing journey.
