This 10 by 12 inch acrylic painting on wood panel is based on a photo I took at RSPB Dungeness. I captured these two lapwings as they stood quietly in shallow water, resting. I kept the painting loose and free, letting the simple shapes and calm of the moment stand out. I also shared the process in a tutorial on YouTube and with my Patreon members. I really enjoyed painting it, and I hope you enjoy it, too.
