This 20-by-36-inch oil painting, "Waterhole Panic," shows a zebra bolting from the water, captured during a safari in Etosha with my wife. The muddy splash around the zebra was what stood out to me—the raw energy of that moment. I really enjoyed painting this piece; it’s all about that single burst of action.
